And man, am I glad to be.
Anyone who ever lived in or visited San Diego, why is Hotel Circle such a clusterfuck from hell? Who thought it was a good idea to cram all these hotels together with the most insane, ill-conceived, poorly-maintained, accident waiting to happen roads and intersections ever made? Was there a vote or something? Mission Valley is a genuinely nice area, but damn...
Got to visit the Art Institute of San Diego on Friday though, and I gotta say it was a really cool school. I wasn't expecting it to be so cool. I just thought it would be something to distract myself with until I finally got up to San Fran and to the Academy of Art, but I actually really liked it. And from what they were telling me with the economy and all that, I might end up starting art school a lot sooner than expected, like next semester. Basically their logic was "Quit screwing around. If you're ready to go, let's go because you might not get as good a chance to start next year the way Californians are getting screwed over." and I liked that. It's scary, but it's true and honestly, I am ready to go. I really, really am.
Just two more weeks until I visit the Academy of Art and make my final decisions to where I'm gonna go. I gotta endure the annual 4th of July family get together first xx;
Until then, I'm gonna go unpack, clean my room, and finally watch Rocky Horror Picture Show, which I've been dying to see for a while now. I'm hoping it's as awesome as it looks xD
UPDATE: Rocky Horror was indeed pretty funny and awesome, although the ending was a little TOO out there for me. I will put my foot down though and say I am officially in love with Tim Curry. Is that weird when the man looks better in heels than I do? hrmmm...
AND since I am shipping myself off the art school in fall and I'm getting a refund for all the community college classes I signed up for, I now have some cash to pay for violin lessons again! w00tz!!

"With me, nothing is as it seems. It's usually much, much worse. And then - What do you mean I only get one epigraph? I get as many as I please. Only pre-eviserated people have ever said things like that to me." - Sabine Queen of Illusions
